Leaving India to study medicine abroad is one of the biggest steps a student and family will ever take. The excitement is real. So is the anxiety. One of the first questions every parent asks us is not about the university, it is about where their child will live.
At Bridges & Beyond Education, we anticipated that question before you even asked it. That is why we built and operate our own student hostel in Tbilisi, Georgia. Exclusively for students who come through us. Not a third-party arrangement. Not a random flat we found online. A proper, managed, safe student residence that we are personally responsible for.
Why Our Hostel Is Different
Most education consultancies arrange accommodation by simply forwarding a landlord's number and wishing you luck. We did not build this business that way. When your child walks into our hostel in Tbilisi, they walk into a space that was set up with one thing in mind — making an Indian student feel safe, comfortable, and at home in a foreign country.
What Our Hostel Offers
Fully Furnished Modern Rooms: Every room is fully furnished and move-in ready from day one. Bed, study table, wardrobe, proper lighting, and everything a medical student needs to study and rest comfortably. Your child arrives with their suitcase nothing else is required.
Authentic Indian Food (Every Single Day): This one matters more than people realize. Homesickness hits hardest at mealtimes. We have Indian cooks on-site who prepare fresh, authentic Indian meals daily — dal, rice, sabzi, roti, and regional dishes (Veg and Non-veg) that remind students of home. No struggling with Georgian grocery stores. No surviving on instant noodles. Real food, every day. We also take care of our students who prefer Non-Veg, Pure Veg, Swaminarayan, Jain and Halal meal.
Separate Hostels for Boys and Girls: We maintain completely separate accommodation for male and female students. This is a non-negotiable standard for us, and we know it is one of the first things parents want confirmed. Safety, privacy, and comfort for every student regardless of gender.
24x7 Security and On-Ground Management: Our hostel has round-the-clock security. There is always someone on the premises. Parents in India have a direct contact they can call at any hour if they need to know their child is safe. We take this responsibility seriously because we understand what it means to send your child thousands of kilometers away.
Prime Location in Tbilisi: Our hostel is located in a safe, well-connected part of Tbilisi, close to university campuses, public transport links, pharmacies, Indian grocery stores, and everyday essentials. Students are never stranded or isolated.
Dedicated Hostel Management Team: Any issue, maintenance, safety, health, a dispute with a neighbor, gets resolved by our hostel management team, not ignored. Students have a direct point of contact for anything that comes up during their stay.
Reliable High-Speed Internet: Medical students need to study. Strong, uninterrupted internet is not a luxury, it is a necessity. Our hostel provides reliable high-speed Wi-Fi so students can attend online lectures, access study materials, and video call home without interruption.
Laundry and Common Area Facilities: Clean, functional common areas for students to relax, socialize, and build friendships with fellow Indian students. Laundry facilities on-site so day-to-day life is manageable and stress-free.
A Message to Parents
We know what you are thinking. You are not just sending your child to a university you are sending them to a country you have probably never visited, thousands of kilometres from home, for six years. That is not a small thing.
We built this hostel because we wanted to be able to look every parent in the eye and say: your child has a safe, clean, well-managed place to live. There is Indian food on the table every day. There is security at night. There is a real person they can call if something goes wrong. And so do you.
You will not get that from a consultancy that sends your child's contact details to a random landlord in Tbilisi and collects their fee.
We are with your child from the day they contact us in India to every day they spend living and studying in Georgia.

Georgia is an incredible country to live in as a student. Tbilisi is a beautiful, modern, safe city with a growing Indian student community. But the first few weeks in any new country can be disorienting, new language, new currency, new systems, new everything.
Our hostel is designed to make that transition as smooth as possible. You will have fellow Indian students around you from day one. You will have familiar food. No, it is not mandatory. However, we strongly recommend it, especially for first-year students. Having a managed, safe residence with Indian food and fellow students around you makes the transition to life in Georgia significantly easier.
No. Students from any year of their MBBS program are welcome to stay at our hostel throughout their time in Georgia.
Our hostel is located close to the universities we work with in Tbilisi. We will confirm the exact distance to your specific university during the counselling process.
Hostel charges are shared transparently during your counselling call. There are no hidden costs. Everything is agreed upon upfront before you commit.
Absolutely. Parents are welcome to visit. We encourage it. Seeing the hostel in person, or on a video call walkthrough with our team, removes every doubt.
Our 24x7 on-ground team is the first point of contact. We have protocols in place for medical situations and maintain contact with nearby hospitals and clinics. Your child will never be alone in an emergency.
